BRIEFINGS IN MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS ON NEW HOUSING STUDY

Current values of single family homes and condos are “unaffordable” to nearly 95% of Monroe County’s households. This is one of the key findings of the first phase of a comprehensive housing needs assessment on which Leadership Monroe County will host county-wide briefings.

The author of the study, Dr. Ned Murray of The Metropolitan Center at Florida International University, will discuss the study’s findings at briefings at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 15 at Coral Shores High School auditorium and at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 22 at Key Colony Beach City Hall.

CDs of the full study will be available at the briefings at a minimal cost, as well as free printed copies of the study summary. To reserve your spot at these free one-hour briefings, email your name to info@leadershipmonroecounty.org or call 289-9400.
